New Beginnings
Its a Sunday morning and I am not really in the mood to move around much. Its quiet, other than the distant churning of the laundry machine. A nice quiet (so far) summer Sunday morning. Its not that I am lazy this morning, I am very ambitious with many different tasks on my to do list to excitedly tackle, but, at least for right now, for just a little while, I LIKE the quiet, non movement MOMENT.
My friend Kevin began his new blog and posted his link up on Facebook. http://bikesbooksbroadsbeer@blogspot.com I saw the link this morning and, being very familiar with his writing, immediately clicked the link and sat back and enjoyed! It was SO worth it. I havent written in YEARS and have missed it, and a few of my friends have encouraged me to get back to it, and I keep thinking, yeah I miss it, but really, where is the time? I was a teenager and had afternoons where I could compose page after page of lengthy letter to friends, in a time where computers were not available and people actually used a paper and pen. I still use paper and pen, although I know in todays world thats NOT the way we do things anymore.
After reading my friends blog, I thought, ok, I can begin with just creating my own blog, and just start again. Just write. I have no destination, but much thought and opinion, not that they are right or wrong....they are simply my own. So I'm going to see where this takes me.
I chose Sandy Beaches Paradise, because for me a sandy beach is a wonderful, relaxing, soothing place to be, where I can let the day go, and just let my thoughts flow.
So, until I get to my physical sandy beach paradise, this blog will be my mental one.
